Drop a comment below. This song goes straight into your dome/head just like the pink venom they are singing about. They are in a position to be asking for the smoke right now in their careers. In the bridge of the song, we hear the BLACKPINK ladies asking for all the smoke. Lisa also mentions her ambassadorship with the fashion brand CELINE. They also pay homage to the movie character Rambo (played by Sylvester Stallone), who is known to have black paint stripes on his body and carries guns. The second verse goes into more braggadocious lyrics on the luxury they have been able to afford thanks to their international success. The same section goes on to sing how venomous the touch of these girls is–like a poisonous flower that you cannot resist or like a fire that engulfs you while you are asleep. ![]() The lyric “look what you made us do” could be a reference to Taylor’s hit single “Look What You Made Me Do,” a dark fantasy about revenge, which aligns with the theme of “Pink Venom.” In the pre-chorus, BLACKPINK seems to be shouting out Taylor Swift, too. The next line “one by one, then two by two” is a direct interpolation of Rihanna’s 2005 hit “Pon De Replay.” BLACKPINK says they walk the talk and they talk the walk, too. ![]()
